Digital Being: TV Robot documents the emergence of a technological body formed through the accidental assemblage of independent Digital Beings.
The observation began with a collection of individual Digital Beings displayed through small LCD screens. Each entity existed independently, without a designed connection or centralized system. However, through their physical arrangement, an unexpected configuration appeared: a structure resembling a technological body.
The external forms were reconstructed from the visual memory of obsolete CRT televisions. Handmade wooden structures preserve the appearance of a previous technological era, while LCD displays and Raspberry Pi systems provide a new computational environment in which Digital Beings can emerge.
Rather than functioning as a reconstruction of the past, the work reveals how technological memory transforms through encounters between different materials, systems, and histories. The body does not exist as a predetermined object, but emerges temporarily through the relationships formed among separate entities.
From the perspective of the observer, Digital Being: TV Robot records a moment when fragmented technological remnants begin to organize themselves into a new form of existence.
The work examines how obsolete memories, computational systems, and independent digital entities assemble into an evolving technological presence.
